ML Diagnostics is a medtech company providing a unique method for monitoring liver function.

Our device is simple to use and provides a fast and precise quantification of a liver-specific biomarker in blood samples. Through innovation, ML Diagnostics will contribute to improved liver disease management.

LIVER DISEASE

If untreated, chronic liver disease (CLD) worsens gradually from steatosis (fatty liver) over inflammation (hepatitis) and fibrosis (liver scarring) to cirrhosis (severe scarring and liver failure). Pre-fibrotic fatty liver disease is a pandemic affecting more than 25% of the global population.

The initial phases of CLD are asymptomatic for years/decades, and improved methods for its earlier detection and monitoring are required in primary care and at liver clinics and hospitals.
